Interface Designer

precious is a small, ambitious design studio in Hamburg. Job description
The interface designer will work in a small team under the direction of one of the studio founders, sometimes in close collaboration with our client’s in-house designers or developers. She or he will be responsible for developing visual languages and translating wireframes into elegant and user-friendly UIs.
Characteristics and skills
We’re seeking an experienced designer with an urge to create stunning interfaces for large HDTVs, tiny mobile phones and everything in between (and beyond!). Candidates should have a passion for interactive design and a healthy obsession for details. Skills were are looking for: Photoshop wizardry, typographical witchcraft, and a magical eye for composition. Experience in HTML/javascript or motion design/video are a huge bonus. Fluency in German or English is mandatory.
What else
This is a full-time, permanent position. Regular on-site attendance in our Hamburg office is required. Salary depending on experience.

Creative Technologist

Job description
The creative technologist will work in a small team with designers, often in close collaboration with our client’s in-house developers. The job is divided between client projects and the development of new products. He or she will be responsible to carry out projects from early prototyping to launch.
Characteristics and skills
We are looking for a coder with a strong sensibility for user experience and design. Applicants should have experience in various environments such as HTML5/JS, Ruby/Rails, iOS, and be eager to explore and learn new technologies. She or he must be a good team player, open to collaboration, but also able to work autonomously. Self-initiated projects are a huge plus. Fluency in German or English is mandatory.

The design intern will work in a small team under the direction of one of the studio founders. She or he will assist our designers on internal and client projects.
Characteristics and skills
We’re looking for a design student or recent graduate with a burning desire to create elegant user interfaces. Candidates should have a keen interest in all things digital and a healthy dose of curiosity. The design intern must be versed in Creative Suite (especially Photoshop and Illustrator), but also comfortable using paper and pencil. He or she should be able to complete tasks under minimal supervision with efficiency and attention to details. Fluency in German or English is mandatory.
What else
The duration of this paid internship is 4 to 6 months. You’ll be working full-time in our office in central Hamburg.
